• Serve as the primary contact for major accounts, maintaining high-level executive relationships
• Sell and maintain relationships with existing national named accounts, focusing on growth and customer service
• Identify and qualify business opportunities while addressing competitive threats
• Prepare and present formal proposals and presentations to all organizational levels, including executives
• Develop and maintain detailed account profiles and sales forecasts to ensure strategic alignment and resource coordination

• 8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant environment
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Proven experience in solution selling and presenting to clients
• Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer

• Experience in selling within a complex matrix environment
• Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach
• Strong influencing skills with the ability to lead teams and prioritize workloads
• Familiarity with Internet-related software or systems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage sales pipelines and forecasting
