Responsibilities & Expectations

As an Account Manager, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for sales growth and expanding our customer base. Leveraging your experience and expertise, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring team members and executing strategic sales initiatives.

  • Possess a strong understanding of electric motors and power delivery systems, including their design, operation, and integration in various applications.
  • Develop and implement sales generation strategies, optimizing processes to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • In-depth understanding of industries and customer needs in Ontario, with a focus on regional market dynamics and relationship management.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations or demonstrations, focusing on product benefits and suitability.
  • Present proposals to customers:
    Achieve sales targets utilizing sales techniques, policies and philosophies of the company, and service center capabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth discussions with prospective customers to assess their needs and evaluate potential for sales conversion.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up.
  • Analyze customer interactions, sales activities, and lead status in the CRM system to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing best practices and contributing to team success.
  • Actively engage in professional development activities to enhance sales skills and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of electric motor drives and power delivery systems.
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales roles in Manitoba.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, adept at optimizing operations and driving efficiencies.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactical sales plans.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Electrical and electro-mechanical component function knowledge.
Other requirements
  • 50% Travel
  • 50% of the time working from home
