This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Engineer - Mission Critical in Switzerland.

In this role, you will serve as the technical and commercial lead for high‑value, complex projects, bridging engineering expertise with strategic business outcomes. You will take ownership of multi‑million‑dollar deals from initial discovery to contract signature, ensuring solutions are both technically sound and commercially viable. By combining consultative sales, solution architecture, and account management, you will drive customer success, long‑term growth, and measurable impact on some of the largest, most intricate projects in the world.

Operating in a fast‑paced, global environment, this position offers the opportunity to shape enterprise‑level deployments and influence mission‑critical outcomes across diverse industries.

This is a fully remote position with flexibility to work across relevant time zones.

Accountabilities
  • Lead high‑value opportunities, owning the commercial outcome and navigating complex procurement, compliance, and legal requirements to close deals.
  • Conduct consultative discovery and qualification to identify projects where solutions deliver maximum ROI.
  • Design and present technically robust, commercially viable solutions that translate complex technology into business‑focused terms.
  • Coordinate strategic proposals, pitches, and tender responses, integrating technical, commercial, and legal inputs for enterprise deals.
  • Manage post‑sale relationships, driving upsells, cross‑sells, and long‑term account growth.
  • Optimize pipeline management using CRM and AI tools, focusing on high‑impact closing activities.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and on‑site visits, strengthening client relationships and driving project success.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Account Management, with a proven track record of closing high‑value contracts.
  • Strong technical and commercial hybrid skill set, capable of understanding complex systems while driving commercial outcomes.
  • Deep industry expertise in construction tech, mission‑critical projects, or related sectors, with an ability to position technology as essential to project success.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Zoho, Apollo, and Google Workspace, with a focus on sales automation and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to influence both technical teams and executive decision‑makers.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for on‑site visits and industry events, with availability across UK or EST time zones.
