Position: Personal Vacation Planner (Remote)

Job Summary

We're looking for enthusiastic, customer‑centric sales professionals to join our upcoming VIRTUAL Personal Vacation Planner (PVP) training class. Only individuals residing in FL, GA, TX, or NC will be considered.

This role involves selling cruise vacation packages and related products through outbound calls, text messages, emails, and social media using Carnival‑approved applications. The position requires building rapport with customers to understand their travel needs and generate sales, managing the CRM system, scheduling follow‑up appointments, and converting leads into cruise reservations. The ideal candidate must be customer‑oriented with a focus on relationship building to encourage repeat business and referrals, and must work independently to meet monthly sales and productivity targets.

Functions
  • Initiate conversations through calls, texts, and approved communication channels to drive sales.
  • Present cruise products and make travel recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships by delivering excellent customer service and meeting customer needs to exceed sales goals.
  • Maintain the CRM database and build relationships with new and existing guests to close sales.
  • Participate in mandatory trainings and meetings to stay current on product knowledge.
  • Perform other job‑related functions as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of inside/outside field sales experience with proven success.
  • Experience developing new business and new accounts with a customer‑service background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Results‑ and goal‑oriented sales professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Superior prospecting, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Comfortable working in an environment requiring monthly sales targets.
  • Effective time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of cruise products.
  • Ability to work independently and manage the CRM system.
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Fluent in English with strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • No verbal, written, or final warnings; in good standing.
Other
  • Shifts:

    During the 4‑week training class, Monday‑Friday 09:00 AM‑06:00 PM (EST). After graduation, Monday‑Thursday 10:00 AM‑07:00 PM and Fridays 09:00 AM‑06:00 PM. May be required to work the last Saturday of a month on an incentive‑driven basis.
  • Internal candidates must have at least six months in their current role and no warnings; all applicants should advise their Coach/Manager of interest.
  • Salary:
    Starting hourly rate of $15 / hour for the first 10 pay periods; thereafter base salary of $16,500 with sales incentive program. Average annual earnings $65,000‑$70,000; high performers $100,000+. Salary may be the state minimum wage if higher.
