Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position for an Agency Development Manager, based in Tampa, FL, with flexibility for some remote work. The Agency Development Manager will oversee the recruitment, training, and development of sales team members to drive business growth. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with business partners, managing team operations, achieving sales targets, and delivering strategies to improve team performance.

This role also requires working collaboratively to ensure alignment with company goals and promoting Colonial Life's solutions to clients effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, team leadership, and client management
  • Proficiency in sales strategy, recruiting, and managing sales training programs
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of financial protection benefits and insurance products is preferred
  • Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage team performance
  • Capable of working in a hybrid environment with strong self-management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field is preferred
  • Experience in the insurance or workplace benefits industry is a plus
