As a full‑time member of the Wikoff Digital Solutions team, the Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by acquiring new customers and managing existing relationships in the digital ink market. This multifaceted role blends sales, customer service, product management, and business analysis to support the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve annual digital ink sales targets.
- Proactively identify and acquire new digital ink customers through prospecting, cold calling, networking, inbound lead follow‑up, and industry events.
- Collaborate closely with the Wikoff Digital and Wikoff Color Sales Teams.
- Maintain and report monthly on territory sales pipeline, opportunity status, wins/losses, and project advancement strategies.
- Product Management Oversight.
- Manage assigned product life cycles including forecasting, pricing, quality control, delivery timelines, and sales terms.
- Oversee marketing communications (Marcom) activities such as social media and website enhancements to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings as needed.
- Track and report pipeline activities and revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate product listings and CRM records (eChempax).
- Develop key account plans with sales summaries, personnel contacts, strategy, and annual action plans.
- Provide monthly 12‑month sales forecasts by customer.
- Report YTD sales performance periodically to the Wikoff Digital Director.
- Build annual sales budgets from the ground up, customer by customer.
- Achieve annual digital ink sales targets.
- Execute a personal sales development plan to improve selling skills and effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
- Industry experience in printing (digital, flexographic, offset) strongly preferred.
- 3–6 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the Ink, Coating, or Printing industry.
- Strong knowledge of printing products and equipment.
- Excellent customer service, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self‑motivated with a strong drive to exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory (>50%) and meet customer contact metrics.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong math skills for calculating discounts, commissions, and other figures.
- Technical aptitude for understanding complex digital print solutions.
- Strong drive, accountability, and urgency.

- Familiarity with lead generation tools and sales automation platforms.
This is a field‑based role with the majority of time spent visiting customers. A portion of time will be spent working from a home office or branch location.
Effort/Physical Demands- Constant communication with employees, peers, managers.
- May be required to work outside of normal working hours.
