What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead efforts in acquiring new logo clients within targeted industry verticals, achieving consistent success in new bookings
  • Develop and implement account development strategies to maximize customer potential and meet business objectives
  • Maintain and manage a twelve-month business account plan, including forecasting and reporting
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with high-value customers, understanding their decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 12-14 years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree required; relevant experience may substitute for degree
  • Proven track record in sales, particularly in hybrid cloud and cybersecurity solutions
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, exceeding 50% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Expert-level knowledge of the sales process and Rackspace's product portfolio
  • Prior experience with AI and machine learning solutions
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking KPIs and documentation
  • Previous success in establishing relationships at the C-suite level
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic customer needs through innovative solutions
