We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Catering Sales Director to lead and expand our catering and private event sales across multiple private country clubs within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales growth, building strong client relationships and leading teams to achieve excellence in the hospitality and catering industries.

Base + Commissions, Remote work, Travel Required.

Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to boost event bookings across assigned clubs.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and community outreach.
  • Manage sales pipelines and set booking goals aligned with each club’s revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with club leadership to tailor catering offerings to operational capabilities.
Team Support & Training
  • Mentor and support on-site catering sales directors at each property.
  • Provide ongoing training on sales tactics, lead generation, and conversion strategies.
  • Foster a team environment focused on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Marketing & Brand Development
  • Partner with marketing teams to craft promotional materials, digital campaigns, and seasonal packages.
  • Ensure brand consistency and high-quality presentation across all sales materials and communications.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Track and report on sales metrics, conversion rates, and revenue performance for each property.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine pricing, packages, and positioning strategies.
Leadership & Strategic Oversight

As a Regional Director overseeing 10-20 Catering Sales Directors (CDs), your primary mission is to provide strategic direction and accountability frameworks to ensure your team meets or exceeds revenue and profitability goals.

Core Strategic Responsibilities
  • Establish standardized KPIs and reporting rhythms (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to monitor sales activity and pipeline health.
  • Design proactive outbound sales strategies and annual marketing plans tailored to regional markets and segments.
  • Lead budgeting and revenue forecasting, maintaining margin discipline.
  • Identify and develop high-potential sales talent through coaching, onboarding, and ongoing training.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Sales activity metrics: prospecting calls, face-to-face meetings, site tours.
  • Revenue growth and booking pace compared to prior years.
  • Profitability metrics:
    Average Order Value (AOV), gross margins.
  • Lead-to-contract conversion rates and client retention.
Operational Support & Collaboration
  • Act as the regional liaison between sales, culinary, and operations teams to align client expectations with service delivery.
  • Drive regional adoption and event management to streamline workflows and minimize errors.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of catering/event sales experience within hospitality, country clubs, or luxury venues.
  • 2+ years of regional or multi-property sales experience, preferably within a corporate structure.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales goals and generating new business.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., North Star, Delphi, Amadeus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in contract software such as Docu Sign, Panda Doc, Hello Sign.
  • Experience in hiring, training, motivating, and managing sales staff.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership qualities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
