You know the feeling. You come across a job opening that feels like a perfect fit. You’re driven, you learn fast, and you deliver results — yet on paper, everyone seems to have the same CV. That’s exactly what’s broken in recruitment.
And that’s exactly what we fix.
Welcome to AssessioAssessio helps organizations hire better people based on objective data, not gut feeling or CVs. With our SaaS platform, we match talent and roles based on potential, competencies, and behavior.
The result? Better hires, lower turnover, and fairer opportunities in the labor market. We work with more than 2,000 organizations, including Rabobank, KLM, G-Star, Maandag, and PostNL, and are growing rapidly across Europe.
Your role as an SDR at AssessioAs a Sales Development Representative, you are the driving force behind Assessio’s growth in the UK market. You are the first point of contact for organisations that are stuck in traditional recruitment — and you show them there is a better, more objective way.
This is not a “call-down-a-list” role. You’re not selling just a product, but a new way of thinking about talent. You will also be among the first to help establish Assessio in the UK market, working from our Amsterdam office.
What you’ll be doing- You build and manage your own pipeline in the UK market, working closely with Account Executives
- You identify and approach relevant prospects via phone, email, Linked In, and events
- You generate and qualify leads and consistently book high-quality demos for our Account Executives, in close partnership with them
- You collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing on targeted outbound campaigns
- You keep CRM data structured and transparent to ensure a reliable pipeline
- You stay up to date with SaaS, HR tech, and recruitment trends and use this knowledge in your conversations
Within 3–6 months:
- You have a deep understanding of our target audience and value proposition
- You consistently book high-quality demos
- You make a visible impact on Assessio’s commercial growth in the UK
- At least 6 months of experience in a commercial role (SDR, BDR, Inside Sales), preferably in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or Recruitment
- Strong communication and research skills; experience with tools like Hub Spot is a plus
- You’re comfortable with outbound outreach (phone, social, and email)
- You speak and write fluent English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- Are commercially sharp and energized by creating opportunities
- Work in a structured and proactive way and take ownership of your pipeline
- Are curious and genuinely want to understand customer needs
- Have experience prospecting in the UK market
- Are ambitious and resilient, with a strong desire to grow within SaaS sales — for example into an Account Executive role

Zero Talent Waste
. This is the goal behind everything we do. Contribute to a fair labor market—it adds an extra layer of meaning to your work.
We practice what we preach. We ask you to complete an assessment consisting of three parts: a cognitive ability assessment, a personality assessment, and a motivation questionnaire.
Everyone goes through this process. Why? To ensure that everyone gets a fair chance and that our decisions are based on data
, not gut feeling. The assessment takes approximately 50 minutes
, and you’ll receive a quick response from us after completing it.
Want to learn more about the process? Visit our career page. Curious about the assessments? More information is available on our website (Aptitude and Personality)
We look forward to meeting you!
