The RoleAs Regional Business Manager, Atlantic Canada, you will lead strategic account growth and new business development across the region.
You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to insurance carriers and key stakeholders while building a strong sales pipeline to expand DKI’s regional presence. This is an entrepreneurial, high-impact role ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, territory ownership, and exceeding targets.
You will manage both named accounts and new account acquisition, balancing strategic relationship development with disciplined pipeline management and performance tracking.
Expected OutcomesGrow and Retain Key Insurance Carrier Accounts
- Own and strengthen relationships with assigned named accounts across Atlantic Canada.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with insurance carriers and new business partners.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Communicate account expectations internally across the region.
- Maintain a high degree of ongoing account engagement through regular meetings and communication.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support issue escalations and high-severity requests when required.
- Execute the full sales lifecycle to expand DKI’s presence in Atlantic Canada.
- Identify new account opportunities aligned with National and Regional plans.
- Manage the complete business development cycle from lead generation through close.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline sufficient to meet or exceed targets.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and close new opportunities.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of DKI’s service offerings and competitive environment.
- Manage daily sales activity and adhere to defined sales processes.
- Support and deliver marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence and generate
- Collaborate with Regional Members to develop and implement the annual Marketing Plan and budget.
- Supervise marketing activities to ensure alignment and cost control.
- Attend and coordinate trade shows, seminars, and regional meetings as directed.
- Research and secure regional speaking opportunities.
- Support RFI/RFP submissions for regional and national proposals.
