Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced U.S.
-based Sales Manager with strong expertise in horticultural LED grow lighting and utility rebate-driven sales
.
This is a remote, field-based role focused on developing relationships with commercial cannabis growers, greenhouse operators, and distributors
, while leveraging utility rebate programs to accelerate project close.
- Develop and manage long-term sales relationships with commercial cannabis growers, greenhouse operators, distributors, and wholesalers.
- Sell commercial-grade, high-efficiency LED grow lighting products.
- Utilize factory-direct pricing and U.S.
-based inventory to win competitive projects. - Act as a subject‑matter expert on U.S. utility rebate and incentive programs.
- Support customers through the full rebate process, including utility pre‑approval.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records.
- Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
- 7+ years of experience in LED grow lighting or horticultural lighting sales.
- Experience working with U.S. utility rebate programs.
- Strong understanding of DLC horticultural lighting requirements.
- PPE / PPF and energy efficiency metrics.
- Commercial cannabis cultivation operations.
- Prior experience with one or more of the following companies is strongly preferred:
Hydrofarm, Grow Generation, Fluence, Growers Choice, ILUMINAR. - Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, field‑based role.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Existing relationships with commercial growers or distributor networks.
- Experience selling large‑scale retrofit or new‑build lighting projects.
- Familiarity with utility rebate programs in CA, OR, CO, MA, or NY.
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission.
- Strong pricing authority.
- Remote work flexibility.
