Position Overview We are seeking an Appliance and Cabinet sales representative in the new construction, remodel and multi-housing sectors. Residential construction experience with proven track record in sales, estimating and/or field measurement. Consulting and working with customers to envision and create their dream solution. We require a positive individual who is willing to learn the business and work with a tenured firm in the industry.
Build relationships, and a team player.
Major Responsibilities:
· Promote, sell and secure new accounts for the company.
· Facilitate product selection of customers. Use proper forms to assure consistent records of selections. Services existing accounts with necessary custom products, time and information.
· Assist with the selection of products best suited to customer needs.
· Prepare, coordinate and communicate price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates and service obligations to customers/contractors.
· Resolve customer complaints and problems.
· Prepare and input orders as necessary.
· Attend customer builder meetings as necessary.
· Estimate materials from blue prints, bid requests, plan supplied by customer/contractor.
Other duties -
· Develop and nurture relationships with home builders, remodelers, designers, home owners and internal employees·
· Exceptional communication skills including face-to-face customer interaction, team dynamics and presentations·
· Ability to close sales based on consultative design process and relationship building·
· Maintain relationships between projects for future pipeline of business
· Blueprint reading skills·
· Experience with accurate review of technical project specifications and in-home measuring·
· Accurate project estimating, technical specs and costing and skill in communication with customers, team members and managers on each project·
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· React to changing business needs; be creative and change gears with each unique project
· Work independently, while also being a successful team player
· Use established business processes and software to achieve and track progress and results as assigned by management.
