Our company partners with manufacturing organizations, providing specialized cleaning technicians to maintain clean rooms, laboratories, and office spaces. Position Overview

This position reports directly to the President, with the primary objective of building and fostering strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and expanding business opportunities within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, poise, and an engaging personality, without relying on aggressive sales tactics. Our reputation for delivering exceptional customer service stands on its own. The candidate must be forward‑thinking and capable of mastering the technical aspects of our business, enabling them to confidently present our services to prospective clients.

Active listening and precise execution are critical to ensuring a seamless transition to ACM services for our clients.

This is a remote position; however, the Sales Executive is expected to visit customer sites in person and occasionally support office operations when needed.

Training

The selected candidate will undergo a 30‑day training period at one of our sites to learn the intricacies of our business and help formulate a growth strategy for their market. We value input and provide ownership of the business segment and outcomes. After training, the role will be based in the Maryland/Virginia market.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement sales leads, prospecting in assigned territory.
  • Meet and exceed sales and revenue goals.
  • Manage special events, which may include some weekend work.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, assisting clients in creating growth strategies.
  • Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential customers, including cold calling.
  • Provide reasonable accommodations
    for customer interactions if necessary to ensure all customers have equal access to information.
  • Manage and interpret customer accounts, offering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Expand market awareness of our products and industry experience by effectively communicating features and benefits.
  • Liaise between customers and internal departments for up-to-date service status.
  • Assist customers with product availability, new launches, pricing (within guidelines), and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Maintain and report relevant customer information, including future plans and projects.
  • Prepare sales and marketing reports while keeping expense accounts within company guidelines.
  • Stay current on new products, services, and tools by attending training and department meetings.
  • Oversee contract start‑up transitions, including payroll, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
  • Transfer new contract details to the operations team.
  • Provide operational oversight within your territory when necessary.

Position Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (Biology or Chemistry preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in industries such as facilities maintenance, custodial, manufacturing services, pharmaceutical services, aerospace services, and/or biologics.
  • Proven ability to increase revenue.
  • Experience with service‑based sales and medium to long sales cycles.
