Sales Marketing Assistant

This part-time hybrid role as a Sales Marketing Assistant is based in Chico, CA, with some flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include conducting market research, supporting sales initiatives, providing customer service, and assisting with sales and marketing campaigns. The Sales Marketing Assistant will collaborate with team members to develop strategies and solutions to enhance client relationships and drive business growth.

This is a hybrid role with approximately:

40% – Internal Support & Documentation

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively assist clients and engage with team members.
• Experience in Sales and Sales & Marketing to support teams in achieving business objectives and building partnerships.
• Proficiency in Market Research to identify opportunities, trends, and areas for growth.
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
• A background or relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Basic technical knowledge of injection molding, die casting, and tooling
• Interest in sales outreach and digital marketing
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A self-starter attitude
• Ability to help write SOPs and internal work instructions

This role will involve:

• Finding and developing new sales opportunities
• Supporting quotes and customer follow-ups
• Creating Linked In and marketing content
• Helping document internal processes and procedures
• Supporting overall business efficiency
