Overview
Position overview for CPG Account Executive at Siemens Digital Industries. This role drives growth in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in key U.S. markets such as food & beverage and FMCG. The Enterprise Account Executive will support Siemens Digital Industries Portfolio relevant to the CPG market, collaborate with Siemens Sales and customers on technical, contractual, and commercial opportunities, manage multiple accounts, and operate under the Head of US Growth Accounts for Siemens Consumer Packaged Goods.
This position is based in the continental US near a major airport and is remote with frequent travel to client sites. Transform the every day with us!

ResponsibilitiesDriving Strategic Growth & Executive Engagement:
Achieve significant sales growth and exceed revenue targets by developing and executing comprehensive strategic account plans. Cultivate and expand relationships with executive leadership and key decision-makers across assigned CPG accounts, influencing strategic direction and driving outcomes.Delivering Integrated Siemens Solutions:
Leverage the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio to architect and deliver innovative solutions, coordinating across diverse internal teams and managing relationships with partners and integrators to ensure successful project execution and expanded market reach.Delivering Measurable Customer Value & Sustainable Growth:
Drive opportunity management and accurate forecasting, fueled by proactive demand generation and in-depth account research. Ensure solutions deliver quantifiable financial outcomes for both Siemens and clients.Shaping Market Presence & Strategic Insight:
Establish Siemens as a recognized thought leader in the CPG sector; engage with industry associations, conduct market research to identify opportunities, and provide feedback to inform product and strategic direction.Managing US Based Accounts:
Serve as the primary Account Executive for critical accounts and for global clients based in the USA, ensuring consistent engagement and growth across complex organizational structures.
This position is a remote position with frequent travel to client sites required.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
8+ years of progressive experience in direct strategic sales, account planning & management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex solution environments.
5+ years strong understanding of the CPG - Food & Beverage industry including market dynamics, key players, and business drivers.
5+ years proven success navigating diverse sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and system integrators.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, providing a strong analytical and problem-solving foundation.
Deep understanding of Discrete and Process Automation or Digital Transformation solutions, and their application within CPG processes.
Siemens Portfolio Knowledge:
Fundamental understanding of the Siemens Digital Industries product, solutions, and service portfolio.Proven ability to develop and execute sophisticated opportunity pursuit strategies across complex ecosystems (e.g., end-users, engineering firms, system integrators).
