Position: Area Sales Manager (Oklahoma City, OK)

Overview

Area Sales Manager in Oklahoma City, OK. We are a leading national consumer finance company with a 15-year legacy of stability and success. Following our recent acquisition and the appointment of a new CEO, we are entering a transformative chapter, pivoting toward a high-growth, tech-forward, and entrepreneurial future. We are seeking an Area Sales Manager who is a motivated self-starter with excellent sales and negotiation skills to forge and maintain positive partnerships with area dealers in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain a strong business relationship with auto dealers in assigned markets.
  • Consistently complete the registration cycle for all new dealers, including all applicable documents and agreements.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to exceed the overall market goals and dealer performance objectives.
  • Utilize the latest industry and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvements and new product opportunities.
  • Coordinate communications between Sales, Credit, and Funding departments and dealership personnel.
  • Provide reports and analyses for territory/production activity, market data, and additional items as requested by management.
  • Maintain excellent service levels for our dealer partners, including communication and follow-up during evenings and weekends.

    You are a polished and enthusiastic sales professional, a motivated self-starter with excellent sales and negotiation skills. You are dedicated, dynamic, outgoing, and results-oriented, and will work your market like it s your own company.
Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • Required:

      Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in auto finance, marketing, underwriting, or dealership retail finance.
    • Preferred:
      Non-prime auto finance experience.
  • Education:

    Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industry Context:
    Knowledge of the local market and existing dealer base in and around the specific market area.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Well-developed presentation, relationship-building, and sales skills.
  • High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Strong understanding of F&I department functions.
  • Ability to work independently and across functional teams.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Dealership operations and product knowledge.
  • The ability to effectively and professionally present the benefits and opportunities of Flagship Financial Group s lending programs.
  • Must have working knowledge of relevant systems and programs including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, the Company LOS system, and other systems assigned by management.
Location

This is a remote-based position. The ideal ASM would live within 30 miles of the assigned territory.
