Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a qualified Account Manager to join its sales team. You’ll be responsible for extending our market reach through targeted discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships in the Pulp & Paper industry.
Our ideal candidate will lead, leverage Ecolab resources, and drive new customer acquisition. Through outstanding presentation skills, you’ll join and inspire a team of associates to achieve our company vision and help customers be more profitable by saving water, energy and waste.

- Drive new customer acquisition
- Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting prioritized opportunities
- Respond to inbound leads and use sales experience to close new accounts
- Leverage knowledge of the industrial sector to establish credibility with customers
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management decisions and reflect territory and pipeline management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business
- Transition customers to the account management team for post-sales support
- Preferred location is Naperville, Illinois, Saint Paul, Minnesota, or Houston, Texas; open to candidates near a major airport in the U.S.

- Bachelor's degree
- Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Industrial process water treatment or commodity chemical industry experience in caustic, bleach, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, starch, wet strength, ASA and/or dyes

The total Compensation range for this position is $135,400-$203,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are considered when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
