We are looking for a Senior Field Sales Manager to join our team and drive business success by representing our products and services with deep customer understanding. In this role you will have autonomy in setting and negotiating terms and take a proactive approach to meeting sales targets within your designated territory
The OpportunityAs a Senior Field Sales Manager you will sell cloud‑based software products and services in a defined territory made up of a specific geography of states in the US. You will partner closely with an assigned Account Manager to ensure customer retention and success while working together on new sales opportunities. You will develop a strong understanding of the retirement plan administration market our customers including TPAs CPAs and Law Firms and their daily workflow
What You’ll DoSell cloud‑based software products and services in a defined territory
Partner closely with an assigned Account Manager to ensure customer retention and success
Develop a strong understanding of the retirement plan administration market and customer workflows
Prospect and develop new business in both existing accounts and new accounts
Maintain and update information in including activities demos and pipeline management
Utilize sales tech stack including Outreach.io Gong Sales Intel Zoom Info and Linked In Sales Navigator
Attend National and Local ASPPA and NIPA trade shows to provide booth coverage as needed
Attend in person customer and prospect meetings in your defined territory as needed
Develop relationships with major players in each of your large metro markets
Submit timely reports as requested by Sales Manager and Executive Management
Contribute and exchange ideas and best practices with other members of the sales team
Provide fast and thorough follow up on inquiries from customers and prospects by phone email text message or applicable tech stack applications
Work closely with assigned Account Manager Customer Service and Billing to solve billing and service issues that could affect subscription renewals
Support team Business Unit and corporate goals and objectives
Perform various ad hoc duties as requested by Sales Manager
You have 3 plus years of over quota sales experience
You have a College Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of and experience in the Retirement industry is strongly preferred
You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
You have excellent organization planning and presentation skills
You have strong time management skills
You are proficient with Microsoft Office Products including PowerPoint Outlook Excel and Word
