  • Prepare proposals, estimates, and presentations tailored to historic structures.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining ethical, consultative sales practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Advise clients on historically appropriate materials, methods, and treatments.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure proposed solutions align with preservation requirements.
  • Participate in site assessments to understand building conditions and historic context.
  • Educate clients on long‑term preservation value, compliance considerations, and sustainability.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and craftspeople to align scope, pricing, and preservation goals.
  • Represent the company at preservation conferences, community meetings, and industry organizations.
  • Act as an advocate for preservation‑sensitive approaches in all sales activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client‑facing roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of historic preservation, restoration, architecture, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical preservation concepts into clear client value.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred
  • Degree or coursework in Historic Preservation, Architecture, Architectural History, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with historic buildings, restoration projects, or specialty construction materials.
  • Familiarity with preservation tax credits, grants, or regulatory review processes.
  • Existing network within the preservation or architectural community.
Skills & Attributes

  • Respect for historic fabric and cultural significance.
  • Strong organizational and follow‑up skills.
  • Comfortable balancing revenue goals with preservation ethics.
  • Self‑motivated, curious, and collaborative.
What We Offer

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including social security and health insurance.
  • An international work atmosphere that values collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible work environment with remote work options.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Access to cutting‑edge technologies and tools to support your success.
  • A 5‑day work week.
