Job DescriptionSolabia USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team. This is a primarily remote role, with one in‑person collaboration day per week in our Parsippany, New Jersey office. Reporting to the Sales Director – Cosmetics, North America, you will represent our portfolio of Active Ingredients, Functionals, and Sun Protection across an established client base. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to deliver a seamless and strategic customer experience.
In this role, you will also have the exciting opportunity to manage and grow selected key accounts, playing a critical part in strengthening partnerships and driving strategic business development.

Responsibilities- Demonstrate passion, curiosity, and pride in your work while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients to drive long‑term revenue and business growth.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of core clients – including key accounts, regional brands, and contract manufacturers – through consistent engagement and strategic account development.
- Achieve annual financial objectives and KPIs with a strong focus on revenue growth, project progression, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline in the CRM, including opportunity value, financial projections, and customer insights.
- Develop and maintain territory account plans outlining annual objectives, growth strategies, and resource needs.
- Respond promptly to client requests, prioritizing same‑day communication and exceptional customer service.
- Strengthen client relationships through cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Operations and other internal teams.
- Stay informed on territory financial health by identifying risks and opportunities and executing proactive action plans.
- Perform monthly and annual forecasting and collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure optimal inventory management aligned with customer demand.
- Maintain and deepen technical knowledge of Solabia’s product portfolio, including Actives, Functionals, and Sun Care technologies.
- Launch and support customer projects using the Customer Experience Center through impactful demonstrations, training sessions, and formulation support.
- Represent Solabia at regional industry events such as SCC chapter meetings, trade shows, and other relevant industry gatherings.
- Collaborate with Finance to support timely customer payments and help resolve invoicing or credit issues.
- Complete administrative responsibilities including expense reports, monthly reporting, CRM updates, and other required metrics.
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B, customer‑facing outside sales experience within the personal care chemical industry or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry, biology, or a related discipline.
- Remote position with required weekly on‑site presence in Parsippany, NJ, and proximity to the assigned territory.
- Demonstrated experience developing sales strategies and clearly communicating the steps needed to achieve commercial objectives.
- Strong knowledge of the cosmetic industry and personal care ingredients market.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally through email, video conferencing, and other digital platforms. Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time strategically.
- Ability to travel up to 15% overnight, primarily domestic with occasional international travel.
- Master’s degree is a plus
