What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Drive sales with new customers and grow existing revenues in public records and investigative content
  • Manage complex, long-cycle enterprise deals and navigate state procurement processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials and systems integrators
  • Achieve consistent quota attainment while managing a healthy sales pipeline
  • Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders in state agencies
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
  • Proven track record of overachieving sales quotas
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel to customer locations 70% of the time, with up to 40% overnight travel
  • Reside within the designated sales territory

  • Experience working with state procurement processes and government contracting requirements
  • Familiarity with state priorities, funding mechanisms, and relevant regulations
  • Strong networking skills within government associations and conferences
