- Generate new account revenue and drive growth in existing accounts through consultative selling of recycling services
- Develop and implement effective marketing plans to manage prospects and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Prepare complex proposals and recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options based on customer needs
- Reduce lost accounts by addressing cancellation requests and improving customer service
- Collaborate with Plant Managers and Brokerage Account Managers to enhance profitability and achieve operational goals
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years in direct business-to-business sales, including cold calling and phone-based prospecting
- Proven track record of successfully obtaining customer appointments
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage customer relationships effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the waste management or recycling industry
- Familiarity with sales productivity software tools
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to recycling services
- Ability to work effectively in a field-based position
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
