Lesser Evil is looking for a dynamic Sales Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in executing the behind-the-scenes tasks to support our Sales Team -- think of this position as the glue between Sales and HQ. The perfect candidate for this role loves creating and maintaining organizational systems, thrives in an environment where they have to pivot between priorities, and exhibits a “can-do” attitude through it all!
The Sales Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President, Sales. This position is expected to work on-site at our Danbury, CT HQ and applications for remote positions will not be considered.
Role/Responsibilities- Completing and submitting new item forms, promotional paperwork, and price change requests to retailer and distributor partners.
- Managing customer portals by uploading product information, promotions, and required documentation.
- Supporting the Sales team members in partnership with Marketing to execute retailer-specific programs and ensuring compliance with retailer requirements.
- Updating and maintaining internal sales org materials such as price lists, account lists, distribution grids, samples request forms, distributor codes, SOPs and other housekeeping responsibilities.
- Communicating effectively with both internal teams and external partners (retailers, distributors, brokers).
- Partnering with cross‑functional departments to ensure timely and accurate flow of information and project management.
- Assisting with reporting and sales material updates such as sales decks, sales trackers managing canned reports and broker asset requests (such as images, samples, sell sheets etc.)
- Handling other sales support activities to ensure smooth day‑to‑day business operations.
- Representing Lesser Evil at brand events and trade shows approximately 3-5 times per year. (This position will include some travel.)
- Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset by recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
- Performing other related duties as assigned and special projects as designated.
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, broker services, or customer account management, required. This experience within the CPG industry, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with proven ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable learning new systems.
- Familiarity with retailer portals, promotional planning, and item setup processes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work in Danbury, CT
- Must have a reliable vehicle as daily trips between factory, warehouse, and office may be necessary
