We are seeking a driven Nomex® Business Development Manager to join our Energy Solutions team supporting customers across North America. With approximately 50% travel, this position focuses on developing new business and strengthening relationships with OEMs and key end users in the electric vehicle, industrial motor, generator, and transformer markets. You will play a critical role in expanding market presence, balancing new business development with strategic account management while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, technical, and product management.

- Identify, develop and manage a robust pipeline, deepening relationships to uncover new revenue in target growth verticals, with focus in the Electric Vehicle, Industrial Motor, Generator and Transformer markets.
- Manage existing business relationships with strategic OEMs, including Global Key Account Management, with goal of developing new business opportunities.
- Coordinate all internal multi-functional customer-facing team activities.
- Focus on downstream business development to achieve revenue, profit and growth targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Technical, and Sales to drive execution of innovation programs by assessing customer needs, introducing new or existing products and positioning Nomex® as the preferred solution to customers’ growth objectives.
- Participate in industry associations and events to promote and represent Nomex®.
- Manage new leads for the Energy Solutions business.
- Provide business analytical support, expanding upon market data.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business or similar
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing or relevant industry experience.
- Able to perform approximately 50% travel (role can be home-office based with travel from home location to client locations)
- Relevant experience in Electric Vehicle, Industrial Motor & Generator and Transformer markets is a plus.
- Experience in sales with focus on business development
- Experience working at the downstream OEM/end user level as well as with value chain.
