Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Commission-Only Sales Representative to generate new business and grow existing accounts within the manufacturing and steel service center markets. This role is ideal for an experienced B2B sales professional with strong industry connections and the ability to independently prospect, develop, and close high-margin opportunities.

The successful candidate will leverage industry knowledge, technical understanding, and relationship-building skills to drive revenue in material handling such as custom roller conveyors, steel cutting equipment, steel storage, bandsaw blades, and even service and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new customers in manufacturing, fabrication, OEM, and industrial sectors
  • Sell steel cutting equipment including horizontal, vertical, pulse, dual column, and scissor style machines such as Amada, Cosen, DoAll, Friggi, ect.
  • Promote value-added services such as custom conveyor manufacturing, training, service on conveyors and equipment sales, OEM ware part sales, and our turn‑key services that help a company from start to finish options
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with operation managers, purchasing managers, plant managers, and maintenance managers.
  • Deliver quotes, proposals, and pricing negotiations
  • Meet or exceed established sales and gross margin targets
  • Stay informed on market pricing, equipment lead times, and competitive trends
Compensation Structure
  • 100% commission-based compensation
  • Aggressive commission percentages based on performance
  • No cap on earnings
  • Performance-based incentives and bonuses (if applicable)
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven B2B sales experience in steel distribution, metals service centers, or manufacturing
  • Existing book of business strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of steel products, grades, specifications, and processing capabilities
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in steel, metals, or industrial manufacturing sales
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Established network within fabrication, OEM, or construction industries preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
