**** Summary****:
** This position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new leads to support expanding the business. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, online engagements, prospect lists, event leads, contacts, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to build relationships and reach decision makers is essential!
This role is critical in supporting biopharmaceutical companies to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.
** Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities****:
*** Develop and cultivate new relationships by identifying and engaging high potential leads across a variety of sources; nurture those leads into new business accounts
* Possess a deep understanding of outbound prospecting including but not limited to script development, target account management, and engaging in social media for prospecting and securing appointments
* Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel
* Manage data for new and prospective customers ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and relevant documents are attached
* Conduct research to identify potential prospects and work with multiple team members to cultivate prospect lists
* Follow up on leads from key events or campaigns
* Work with team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals
* Collaborate with team members to identify emerging verticals and to conduct data-driven communication with prospects
* Completes and reports on assignments within the established timeframe
* Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities and industry trends, including US and global regulatory requirements for biologicals
* Ability and willingness to travel 25%+ of the time when appropriate
* Attend industry meetings, conferences, and seminars
* Exercise independent judgement and discretion to make decisions affecting the organization
* Supports and contributes to the achievement of departmental goals

*** Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or technical/scientific related field from an accredited college/university
