- Travel 50%+ of the time for client meetings and industry events
- Manage the entire sales process, including cold calling, appointment setting, and responding to RFPs
- Build brand awareness and provide product expertise and service support for the broker community
- Meet annual new business development targets and deliver upon renewal targets
- Bachelor's degree from any discipline preferred
- Accident & Health license required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the supplemental health/voluntary benefit industry
- Proven track record in developing profitable business, including achieving annual sales targets
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and effective relationship development
- Demonstrated solid network of broker and distribution partner relationships
- Understanding and experience with technology as a service tool in the insurance market
- Active listening and superior communication skills (verbal and written)
- Team player with the ability to motivate others to achieve sales and risk targets
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
