Position: Sales Consultant for Digital Media Strategies

This is a hybrid, outbound sales position, a mix of work from home and at least 2in office daysat our Charlotte, NC office and three remote/work-from-home days. In-office days are required for collaboration, meetings, and team alignment.

The Role

The Digital Media Sales (DMS) is responsible for driving new business and growing client relationships. This role owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitch to close and client handoff — acting as a strategic partner armed to provide long-term, integrated, omni-channel digital marketing solutions; not one-off tactics or single-channel campaigns.

This is a true outbound sales role focused on local and regional advertisers and agency partners. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, media planners, and creative teams to deliver smart, scalable digital solutions. Our goal is to educate clients on how channels can work together at each stage of the sales funnel, reinforcing long-term strategy over short-term tactics.

What You’ll Do Sales & Business Development
  • Prospect and close new business through vertical prospecting, outreach, networking, targeted emails, cold-calling, and Linked In outreach
  • Build,manage and nurture a strong pipeline within the Hub Spot CRM
  • Meet and exceed sales quarterly and yearly activity quotas and understand your personal funnel metrics (touches, meetings, opportunities, and revenue)
  • Negotiate media strategies, pricing, and deliverables in real time while balancing client objectives with internal margin and profitability guidelines
  • Identify creative, incremental, or value-add opportunities that enhance client outcomes without introducing additional hard costs
  • Identify opportunities within target verticals including healthcare, higher education, tourism, automotive, retail, B2B, and agencies
Client Strategy & Relationship Management
  • Own client relationships, in tandem with the Media Strategy team
  • Lead virtual and in-person sales meetings with confidence and expertise
  • Translate client goals into strategic media and creative recommendations
  • Able to interpret campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics and platform reporting
  • Partner with media planners to ensure revenue growth and client retention
Internal Collaboration
  • Write campaign and creative briefs and kick off internal teams
  • Work closely with media planning, strategy, and creative teams
  • Support agency partners as they onboard and scale new clients
  • Participate in growth strategy discussions with leadership
What We’re Looking For Experience
  • 5+ years of digital media or marketing sales experience
  • Proven success driving net-new business growth through outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and strategic deal closure
  • Agency experience or equivalent client-side marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience selling digital and/or traditional media strategies that align with client’s goals and objectives.
  • Experience selling digital media solutions in a quota-carrying role is strongly preferred
