Sales Development Representative / Business Development Representative

Team: Sales (DACH)
Reporting to: Global Head of Go-to-Market
Contract Type: Freelance, 80–100% capacity

Role Purpose

You open the door to new business for SANDSIV by finding, engaging, and qualifying the right prospects in our target markets. Your work creates a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities that fuel our sales growth and expand our presence in the CXM market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and plan targeted outbound campaigns for your sales region
  • Engage decision-makers through Linked In, email, and phone to spark relevant conversations
  • Qualify prospects against SANDSIV’s ideal customer profile and pass to the sales team
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date with all prospect activity
  • Work with Marketing to align outreach efforts with campaigns and content
  • Build and maintain relationships with early-stage prospects to keep them engaged
  • Achieve or exceed monthly outreach, meeting, and pipeline creation targets
  • Share market feedback to improve messaging, targeting, and approach
Required Skills & Experience
  • Native-level German
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Basic understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and metrics

Preferred:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in CX or VoC software
  • Understanding of multi-channel outbound sales strategies
  • Resilient and driven to meet outreach and pipeline goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Organised and able to manage multiple prospects and priorities
  • Curious and eager to learn about customer challenges and market trends
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and new approaches
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
  • Collaborative, working effectively across sales, marketing, and product teams
