The Design Support Specialist (DSS) is the front line of our sales engine. This role is not traditional cold calling or closing. You are responsible for speed-to-lead, first contact, qualification, and scheduling qualified homeowners with our Design Consultants.
You will work exclusively with high-intent inbound leads generated by our marketing and content engine. Your success is measured by responsiveness, call quality, booking rate, and show rate.
What You’ll Do- Respond quickly to inbound leads via phone, text, and email
- Conduct short, value-focused qualification calls
- Identify project readiness, timeline, and fit
- Schedule qualified homeowners with RTA Designers
- Maintain accurate notes and outcomes in Hub Spot CRM
- Follow clear call scripts, workflows, and SLAs
- Collaborate closely with Designers and Sales Leadership
- Protect the customer experience through clarity, honesty, and service
- Fast response times to new inquiries
- High booking and show rates for Designer appointments
- Clean CRM data and reliable handoffs
- Customers who feel heard, helped, and confident moving forward
- Strong teamwork and consistency in execution
- Are a strong verbal communicator with a professional phone presence
- Enjoy helping people take the next step—without hard selling

- 1+ years appointment-setting experience or 2+ years of sales experience in high-volume outbound phone sales, inside sales, or call-center environments
- Strong listening and qualification skills
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM, email, calendar tools)
