Overview
Chiesi USA is a field-based/remote hospital sales role in the United States, supporting CARE promoted hospital products. Candidates should live in/near the territory locations:
Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Upstate New York. This is a remote-friendly position (up to 75% travel).

We are looking for a results-driven hospital sales professional with strong clinical credibility, capable of navigating complex health systems, building trusted relationships, operating with integrity, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to drive access and adoption.
Responsibilities- Quarterly/Annual Sales Objectives Attainment & Promotion
- Call on targeted customers and promote/sell Chiesi USA products in accordance with approved methods within the assigned geographic territory
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
- Conduct in-services and clinical discussions with physicians, pharmacists, hospital staff
- Navigate hospital formulary processes
- Implement territory business plans aligned to regional and national goals
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with medical centers, pharmacies, physicians, medical staff, and others
- Develop influential customers as local advocates and champions
- Schedule and conduct high-impact meetings with targeted customers and peers
- Implement special programs to maximize sales opportunities (e.g., speaker bureau programs, symposia, displays at conventions)
- Refine sales and retention strategies to optimize business outcomes and create win-win results for physicians and company providers
- Collaborate with Chiesi’s internal teams to meet customer needs and move the selling process forward
- Territory Planning & Reporting
- Develop, update, and adhere to territory business plans
- Prepare reports and presentations for management
- Prepare and present monthly sales reports, identifying trends, opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth
- Development & Administration
- Gain proficiency with products and sales tools to demonstrate a high degree of competence to a highly trained audience
- Manage territory budget within company guidelines
- Respond promptly to management and customer requests
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited university
- Two years’ pharmaceutical industry sales experience
- Excellent communication (interpersonal and public speaking) skills
- Proven organizational and territory management skills
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in presenting scientific information using visual aids, clinical reprints, and technical data
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Successful completion of new hire training and ability to pass product knowledge tests
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and hospital credentialing processes, including obtaining/maintaining hospital credentials to access/operate within healthcare institutions; credentialing includes drug testing (including marijuana)
- Experience in the specialty pharmaceutical sales industry

The annual base pay ranges from $135,540 to $155,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will receive overtime pay for qualifying hours. Base pay may vary based on factors including location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Employment is at-will, and the company reserves the right to modify pay or compensation programs at any time.
