Territory Salesperson – Caribbean

This position works from home 3 weeks per month conducting customer contact via E-mails, Whats App and phone calls and then conducts sales meetings on-island via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers one week every month. You are responsible for maintaining current customers assigned by the company and establishing new customers within their territory. You will also manage “boots on the ground” salesperson(s) who are also responsible for gaining new customers.

• Sell and manage existing accounts and establish new accounts in the given territory.
• Manage on-ground Independent Sales Reps and work with them to sell.
• Support them by providing quotes, purchasing and invoices.
• Travel to territories at least one week per month - 5 days or more as needed, at the expense of the company, to meet with current and prospective customers.
• Quote, process sales and purchases through invoicing software.
• Place orders and follow up with manufacturers/suppliers to ensure the product is delivered to the port or forwarding warehouse.

• 3+ years in construction, building materials sales, exports, or related industries experience.
• Excellent customer service and sales ability.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Proficient with computer systems or general computer literacy.
• Ability to travel internationally each month.
• Familiarity with traveling in the Caribbean an plus.

• First-year guarantee: $60,000 minimum.
• Base pay plus 3% commission on all existing and new accounts.
