Overview
District Sales Manager — Analytical Instrumentation
Based in Akron, OH area | Regional Travel Required
Swan Analytical USA
Full-Time | Entry to Mid-Level
What You’ll Do- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to exceed growth targets.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities while supporting existing accounts.
- Collaborate with technical experts to deliver engaging demos and solutions.
- Prepare persuasive presentations and proposals for customers and partners.
- Negotiate contracts with a focus on mutual success.
- Report on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback.
- Represent Swan Analytical at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
A typical week includes home office days on Mondays and Fridays, with most regional travel occurring from Tuesday through Thursday.
What You Bring- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business
, or related field (preferred). - Sales experience in analytical instrumentation, water analysis, or other technical fields is a bonus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
