Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. nVent is seeking a dynamic and strategic ERICO / ILSCO Commercial Regional Sales Manager for the South East USA Market to lead demand creation and product expertise for our sales organization within the Electrical Connections business, driving revenue growth across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia.
WhatYou Will Experience In This Position
- Achieve sales goals for ERICO and ILSCO Commercial Electrical business by maintaining existing business and successfully converting new business, primarily through breadth and depth of product offering and as a project solution provider.
- Develop multi‑year sales strategy & tactical plan to identify and develop new customers, end users, key projects, and channel partners within the territory.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing third‑party agent sales team across geography and channels, ensuring understanding and acceptance of territory strategy, pricing, joint calls, and personal/business development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distribution partners, and industry stakeholders, and serve as a customer advocate by sharing market insights.
- Provide product expertise through training and technical presentations, influencing end‑user specifications and promoting ERICO and ILSCO products.
- Support agent opportunities and proposals (quotes) for ERICO and ILSCO, including lightning protection, CADWELD, grounding, surge protection, and part conversion crossovers.
- Handle quotes, pricing, and KPIs to maintain profitability and analyze sales data for improvement.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Pricing, and Operations to align sales initiatives with broader nVent objectives.
- Use CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce) to manage opportunity pipelines and communicate feedback.
- We are hiring for one position across multiple cities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience.
- Ideally, 5+ years of outside or territory sales management in the commercial/industrial electrical products space, leading third‑party manufacturing reps.
- Ability to work remotely from a home office and travel on average 60% of the time across the specified region; must hold a valid driver’s license and be physically capable of navigating construction sites.
- Strong preference for technical sales and value‑based selling skills.
- Commercial and electrical contractor sales knowledge.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
