Job DescriptionAs the face of Western Funding to our primary customer – the dealer – the Area Sales Manager focuses on increasing funded deals by partnering with suitable dealers in their region. This full‑time position reports to Regional Sales Managers and is suitable for U.S. candidates comfortable with remote work and travel.
Responsibilities- Present and communicate company products and services to dealer management in person.
- Identify and contact sales prospects within assigned accounts.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals from dealer conversations.
- Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with independent and franchise dealer partners.
- Communicate program updates to dealer partners through phone or in‑person contact.
- Train dealers on Western Funding processes and documentation required for fast funding.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive, finance, and sales.
- Prior experience in financial services or within a car dealership.
- 1‑2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Effective presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
- Comfortable with 75% travel to visit auto dealers.
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Bi‑lingual Spanish a plus.
- First‑Year Salary Range: $54,000 – $125,000 per year (base plus performance commissions).
- Average rep earnings after 1 year: $79,000; top 10 reps: $125,000.
- Commission potential:
