The Job at a GlanceAs a Customer Partnerships Manager, you will lead and develop a high‑performing, remote, outbound sales team focused on driving revenue growth and expanding market share. This role combines hands‑on selling with leadership responsibilities, ensuring your team consistently exceeds performance goals.
You will cultivate relationships with both new and existing customers, coach team members on outbound strategies, and leverage data‑driven insights to optimize sales performance.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy- Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 10 outbound sales representatives
- Set clear performance goals and drive accountability through metrics and KPIs
- Monitor pipeline activity and ensure consistent revenue growth
- Oversee and participate in high‑volume outbound calling efforts
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic sales solutions
- Guide team in closing deals, negotiating pricing, and overcoming objections
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers nationwide
- Drive new account acquisition through targeted prospecting and research
- Expand existing accounts by identifying additional needs and opportunities
- Ensure exceptional customer experience through personalized interactions
- Understand customer challenges and position tailored solutions
- Educate clients on company capabilities, resources, and partnerships
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track performance and maintain accurate reporting
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to enhance service delivery
- Train new and existing sales staff on outbound strategy and communicate best practices
- Analyze sales data to improve team performance and strategy
- 4‑year degree preferred or high school diploma
- 5+ years in sales management and business development
- Proven experience leading outbound sales or call‑driven environments
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience leading or mentoring a sales team
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Encompass is a pay‑for‑performance company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer commission and bonus opportunities depending on the role.
