Sales Design Consultant

Overview

Closets by Design of South Central Michigan is hiring 3-5 designers/sales consultants. We are looking for candidates in the Lansing surrounding area.

• Begin the sales route with appointments (all leads and marketing materials are provided).
• Build rapport with the customer to understand their organizational needs.
• Walk through the home to assess opportunities.
• Educate customers on our products and services.
• Follow our Sales Training and utilize effective communication skills to assist residential customers with their home organization needs.

• No degree, certification, or sales experience is needed.
• We are seeking coachable candidates who are eager to learn.
• Growth mindset with willingness to complete 16-week paid sales training.
• Reliable access to a motor vehicle, with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work in a business professional environment.
• Basic computer and math skills.

• Average income of $48k to $84k+ (with $48k for motivated starting consultants and $84k for high-performing consultants).
• Monthly incentives based on performance/results.
• Direct track to become a Senior Sales/Design consultant with pay/bonus increase.
• Hybrid remote position with an open and flexible schedule.
• 16-week paid sales training and ongoing mentorship.
• Pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients – no cold calling.
