Group Account Manager - Health

About the Role

Marsh McLennan Agency Midwest is expanding its Employee Health & Benefits team. As an Account Manager, you will ensure successful client service delivery, build strong relationships, understand needs, negotiate coverage, and manage proposals and renewals.

• Ensure successful delivery of services to clients.
• Build strong relationships, understand client needs, and negotiate coverage.
• Manage proposals and renewals.
• Maintain accurate client information and foster a collaborative service experience.

• 3+ years of prior insurance experience with employee benefit products.
• Experience negotiating contracts, leading renewal meetings, and presenting at open enrollment meetings.
• Self‑starter, highly organized, strong time‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and agency management systems.
• Ability to interpret complex documents such as insurance policies, applications, and proposals.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy team while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Preferred:
  Life & Health license, BS/BA in business or related field, professional insurance designation, experience with Applied Epic, willingness to travel.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400. Base pay will be determined by experience, skills, training, location, qualifications and performed on a case‑by‑case basis. The position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
