Position OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Representative to drive the growth of our custom cabinet door manufacturing business. This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on new business to business development, strategic account management, and territory expansion.
The ideal candidate thrives in a hybrid environment—splitting time between in-territory travel for client engagement and remote work for planning, reporting, and virtual meetings. You’ll play a critical role in identifying and securing new accounts, ensuring successful onboarding, and serving as a trusted senior advisor to key clients.
Required Knowledge and Experience- 5+ years of proven success selling building products—preferably cabinets, millwork, or interior finishes—to residential builders
- Demonstrated ability to win new accounts and scale them to significant annual revenues
- In-depth understanding of home-building cycles, procurement processes, and construction project timelines
- Proficient with modern CRM platforms and virtual meeting tools
- A hunter-first mentality with the tenacity to drive new business
- Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to nurture long-term relationships
- Self-directed and field-based, capable of managing time and priorities independently
- Communicates effectively and resolves challenges without close supervision
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline
- Conduct outreach, product demos, and compelling proposals that convert leads into active customers
- Lead the full sales process: pricing, contract negotiation, and closing
- Tailor solutions that align with customer needs.
- Define success metrics and onboarding milestones with each new account
- Act as the senior relationship manager for top accounts
- Lead regular business reviews, identify expansion opportunities, and manage issue escalations
- Maintain accurate funnel and forecast data in CRM
- Deliver monthly/quarterly sales reports and market insights to leadership
- Proactively identify and resolve order issues
- Stay ahead of trends and design preferences
- Recommend product and service enhancements based on field insights
- Promote CRM best practices and improve quote-to-cash cycle efficiency
