Functions & Responsibilities

As an Operator Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving volume growth across tier 2 and 3 distribution and operator accounts. You’ll balance relationship management with new business development—bringing forward creative, customer‑aligned solutions that deliver results.

  • Build and grow relationships with operators, regional chains, and distributors
  • Expand market penetration while maintaining and growing existing accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, promotions, and product initiatives
  • Manage a strong pipeline and advance opportunities using CRM tools
  • Deliver engaging sales training on pork category expertise
  • Coach Distributor Sales Representatives through ride‑along and training sessions
  • Represent Clemens at food shows, customer meetings, and industry events
Qualifications & Competencies
  • 1–3 years of food service sales or distribution experience
  • Strong ability to develop new business and close opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Self‑starter mindset with the ability to manage a fast‑paced territory

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Culinary experience (a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~75%
