Job DescriptionAs a Commercial Inside Sales Representative at Liberty Mutual, you will be the first point of contact for inbound calls from both new and existing customers and agents seeking commercial insurance solutions. You will gather key information during each call to craft tailored insurance proposals that meet unique client needs. This role involves spending a significant portion of the day on the phone, managing high call volumes while balancing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Receive inbound calls from new and existing customers and agents.
- Gather client information, assess needs, and propose insurance solutions.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Meet monthly sales targets and commission goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, sales, or insurance.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in multitasking and effective communication/typing while engaging with customers.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Ability to obtain required resident and non‑resident insurance licenses.
- Availability to work during Licensed Sales Center operating hours.
Expected first‑year total compensation: $58,000 – $65,000. $45,000 base salary + uncapped monthly sales incentive. Comprehensive benefits from Day 1, including health and dental insurance, 401K, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
Hybrid ScheduleThe business operates 6 days a week, shifts between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Qualified candidates must be available during these operating hours and work three days per week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday); the other two days may be remote.
Training ScheduleUnlicensed training begins June 29 2026; licensed training begins July 13 2026. Training days are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM CST / 7:00 AM–3:30 PM PST. Paid training of 6 weeks licensed or 8 weeks non‑licensed. Attendance mandatory during the first four months.
