Senior Director, Subscription Data Solutions

The Senior Director of Subscription Data Solutions at Level Ten Energy is responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, packaging, and commercialization of the company's data and analytics subscription products, while acting as a bridge between commercial, product, and engineering teams to drive revenue growth and customer retention in the renewable energy market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for data and analytics products, including packaging, pricing, and identifying new monetization opportunities.
  • Lead customer migration strategies to upgrade existing clients to newer subscription tiers, maximizing retention and minimizing churn.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between commercial teams and product engineering to influence product roadmaps and ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to enable effective selling of data solutions through training, collateral, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive offerings to maintain and enhance the positioning of data and subscription products.
Requirements
  • Ten (10) years of experience in the renewable energy market, with deep knowledge of PPAs, energy procurement, and the buyer seller advisor developer ecosystem that Level Ten serves.
  • Significant commercial or sales experience within the renewable energy market, including personally selling to or managing relationships with energy buyers, developers, utilities, or advisors, and understanding how deals get done.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, influencing product, engineering, and sales teams to drive outcomes without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong commercial instinct with an understanding of pricing strategy, value-based selling, and how to package data and analytics products to drive adoption and revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex customer needs into product requirements for engineering and to translate technical platform capabilities into value propositions for customers.
  • A natural bias for action with a proven track record of identifying gaps and proactively addressing them before being asked.
