Remote position: Candidates must be comfortable traveling to all store locations.
This position requires driving a personal vehicle roughly 55 miles per day in your assigned territory (mileage may vary). No car allowance is provided, but mileage will be reimbursed at 62 cents per mile.
A Part‑Time Territory Sales Associate (TSA) is a great way for a relationship‑oriented person to flex selling skills while representing some of the most exciting brands in America. TSAs will sell and insure best‑in‑class merchandising, manage building displays, increase distribution of top‑selling items, and replenish permanent secondary displays.
Work ScheduleThis role is considered “Continuous Part‑Time,” working 20‑25 hours per week. On average, a TSA will visit between 6‑10+ accounts per day. The schedule offers flexibility to accommodate personal needs, territory demands, and store availability, with workdays overlapping core hours of 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Hourly starting rate is $15.50–$16.50, varying based on skill, experience, and geographic location.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory.
- Ensure flawless retail execution according to the Retail Execution Plan, utilizing permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles.
- Meet merchandising objectives through effective use of display vehicles.
- Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within the territory.
- Submit daily activity reports via tablet upon completion of each day.
- Manage sales territory – size varies by territory and number of retailers.
- Must have a valid US state‑issued driver’s license.
- Must own a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
- Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person, $100,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
- Must reside or be willing to commute within the listed territory boundaries.
- Must be able to drive long distances for multiple sales calls daily.
- Must be able to lift 10–40 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to use tablet technology.
- Must have daily access to wireless internet.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in territory coverage.
- Availability to work 20‑25 hours per week.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - Experience:
3–4 years of food merchandising preferred but not required.
