This Digital Sales Representative will drive net new customer acquisition, solution selling, and closing of deals within Twilio's Self Service accounts. The role focuses on generating revenue and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction for a specific territory.
Responsibilities- BE AN OWNER:
Drive net new customer acquisition and new revenue for a specific territory while maintaining high customer satisfaction. - WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES:
Work with customers across all verticals to understand their business and technical requirements; design solutions using Twilio’s communications API platform. - EMPOWER OTHERS:
Collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to address customer needs and help customers get started on the Twilio platform. - DON'T SETTLE:
Show passion, think outside the box, and communicate complex technical and financial details simply. - RUTHLESSLY PRIORITIZE:
Balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects and deals simultaneously. - DRAW THE OWL:
Build new processes and help the team create a playbook while thinking outside the box.
- At least 1 year of sales development/business development experience at a technology company or 1+ years of closing experience in another industry.
- Understanding or interest in the cloud computing/communications business model and excitement to sell to a technical audience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical and financial details simply.
- Experience in technical solution selling and a willingness to listen to customers and solve problems.
- High adaptability and comfort trying new things in a rapid‑paced environment.
The role is remote and based in Singapore.
TravelOccasional travel may be required for project or team in‑person meetings.
