Import Brand Developer - Seattle

Position Summary

Duvel USA is seeking a passionate Import Brand Developer for the Seattle, WA Metro. This position will cover On‑Premises and Off‑Premises accounts in the Seattle Metro area. The Import Brand Developer will sell and activate Duvel USA Import brands to targeted accounts, build strong relationships with decision‑makers, provide solutions to drive consumer trial and sales, create custom promotions, and establish new partnerships that facilitate brand trial.

The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

Required Experience
  • Building a passion and following for a premium beer brand with a core group of retailers and consumers.
  • Driving success among influential On‑Premises and Off‑Premises accounts by identifying and winning new distribution for Duvel and Chouffe.
  • Balancing sales and promotional activities with day‑to‑day account support, outlet activation, and account retention.
  • Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and sustain effective new placements and professional relationships with a targeted list of accounts in Seattle, WA Metro.
  • Form partnerships with key high‑profile accounts to drive distribution, brand visibility, trial, and depletions.
  • Work in On and Off Premise accounts, ensuring maximum presence and visibility of Duvel USA Import brands.
  • Secure Duvel USA Import product distribution and POS in accounts to drive consumer trial.
  • Secure permanent menu placement for Duvel USA Import brands with proper price points.
  • Serve as the official spokesperson of Duvel USA within targeted accounts while communicating product knowledge to trade and consumers.
  • Host Duvel Perfect Pour training for bartenders and wait staff.
  • Conduct regular consumer samplings with consumers inside key Duvel USA accounts.
  • Participate in overall strategy development, tactical planning, and execution of local and national marketing programs.
  • Identify, execute, and monitor the success of promotional opportunities that grow depletion volume based on individual account needs.
  • Report weekly key performance metrics to Duvel USA stakeholders.
  • Maintain an updated target account list for new placements.
  • Provide the Duvel USA Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Team with account feedback, critical insights, and recommendations to drive product placement and depletion.
  • Represent the Duvel USA brands inside and outside of working hours with the highest standards and integrity.
Requirements / Must‑Haves
  • Currently reside in the Seattle, WA metro area with reliable transportation.
  • Excellent relationship‑building strength.
  • Collaborative ability with Duvel USA sales and marketing teams, local distributor teams, and the Duvel brand team.
  • Working experience in the beer, liquor, or wine industry.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated, independent self‑starter able to succeed in a high‑paced, high‑energy environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work out of a home office.
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Previous experience managing and tracking budgets.
  • Valid government driver’s license and reliable vehicle access.
