Key Account Manager - Beverage - Remote

Reporting to a Regional Sales Director, you will have an opportunity to grow specific accounts in our beverage category. This is considered a home-based office (remote) with high travel potential. Cincinnati/Mid West location preferred.

• Lead and influence strategic account planning.
• Develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts.
• Understand customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data.
• Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans.

• Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Flavor Creation and Application.
• Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical interface.
• Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch.
• Negotiate pricing agreements following company guidelines.

• Grow our business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and generating a broad base of new business opportunities.
• Cultivate customer relationships with important decision-makers, positioning us as preferred supplier and ensuring we participate in targeted briefs and core supplier lists.

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Management, Marketing or Food Science.
• 5+ years experience in sales, marketing or customer relationship role in food or related industry.
• Experience with the flavor industry, including consumer and industry trends.
• Knowledge of customer strategies, projects, commercial needs and product launch processes and competitor activity.
