Technical Sales Territory Manager for a Indianapolis, Indiana territory. Sell boiler and cooling tower industrial water treatment chemicals with unlimited commission potential. Work out of your home anywhere in the greater Indianapolis or Central Indiana area.
Garratt-Callahan is a profitable and private nationwide water treatment chemical company that promotes from within. We are expanding nationwide and seeking aggressive, smart, educated, and promo table Technical Sales Territory Managers to join our sales team.
We offer training, technical support, and an unlimited no-cap flat rate commission. This is an established territory with a sizeable book of business across industries including Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Commercial & Institutional, and Wastewater.
Responsibilities- Sell water treatment boiler and cooling tower chemicals to a variety of industrial customers.
- Maintain the existing customer base and make cold calls to develop new business.
- Run chemical tests to analyze water and document results.
- Interact with and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, tubing, piping and valves.
- Program electronic equipment such as cooling tower chemical controllers.
- Minimum of a four-year technical degree to qualify; advanced degrees preferred. Military equivalents (e.g., Navy Nuclear Propulsion, Army CBRN School) are also valuable.
- Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of technical sales experience related to water treatment chemicals; selling to a variety of industrial customers is preferred. Knowledge of the Central Indiana industrial marketplace is preferred. CWT experience is preferred.
- Compensation based on experience and performance.
- $90,000 to $120,000+ first year for a qualified candidate.
