Account Manager/Technical Sales person to design and execute a sales strategy for a territory, existing customers, and prospects to fulfill their requirements, and expectations from sale to implementation.

Account Manager Duties:
  • Manage accounts through strong relationships; develop a trusted advisor; be aware of their goals and challenges; stay connected
  • Use all tools to prospect and then qualify the needs of an account while developing the customer/supplier relationship
  • Use all tools and resources to gain and build on product knowledge, processes, and applications
  • Increase product penetration in existing accounts; promotion and introduction of new products
  • Know competitors, products, pricing, and marketing strategies
  • Maintain historical customer records: contacts, projects, targets, goals, forecasts
  • Ongoing review of financial targets and assessments
Other Duties:
  • Assist with annual physical inventory
Requirements for Position:
  • Education BA/BS degree or equivalent or three to five years of sales experience
  • Interest in and aptitude for industrial processes and sales
  • Customer/Client focus; results driven
  • Strong sales and prospecting skills
  • Ease in dealing with small job shops to multi-department, multi-plant companies
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient communication skills; listening, verbal and written
  • Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
  • Willing to travel; have a clean and valid driver’s license
  • Should be competent in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively and be able to respond to different types of personalities
  • CRM and/or database management system experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge, skills and ability to navigate standard computer software

All authorized locations - Midvale offices or salespersons home office per assigned sales territory.
