McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Product Support Sales Representative.
Join McCoy Construction & Forestry as our Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) and take charge of customer success! This is a proactive field role focused on using technology to maximize machine performance and customer growth.
What will you do:- Utilize John Deere data, telematics, and CRM to identify opportunities.
- Develop customer relationships to prevent downtime and solve issues.
- Promote parts and service, fostering growth in our Eastern Tennessee area.
- Actively manage the product support process for high satisfaction
- External (Customer Focused) sales/support position.
- Using the benefits of technology, strategically focus on incremental revenue opportunities that support both parts and service strategic fiscal objectives.
- Make field related purpose-built customer calls to follow up on Product Support opportunities and provide leads for Parts and Service Department
- Fully utilize McCoy’s customer relationship management (CRM)
- Actively promote Preventative Maintenance Contracts (PM’s) or Total Maintenance and Repair Contracts (TMR’s)
- Provide customer training, follow up calls and create customer digital partnerships.
- Proactively monitor JDLINK data, promote and maintain machine connectivity along with the sale of Universal Telematics Devises.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular onsite attendance as required by your supervisor.
- Heavy Equipment experience in necessary.
- Degree preferred and/or applicable experience in an Engineering/Technology /Marketing discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years related Equipment experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated sales and marketing skill. Understanding of the principles, apply the information to complex situations, develop new applications and provide expert support for other practitioners.
- Knowledge of products and services offered, good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Be customer focused, write clearly and concisely, and analyze effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 90% of the time within your AOR, some overnight stays included.
