Compensation
The base draw range for this job is $50,000-$60,000 annually plus performance‑based incentives. Base salary may vary based on education, experience, location and market.
Work Type and LocationFull‑time hybrid position. Must live in or near the territory and travel 2‑5 days per week to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities.
Work Hours and TravelHours may vary; evenings, weekends, and local travel 2‑5 days per week are required. Some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultative customer service to coaches across the assigned territory, making their lives easier.
- Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
- Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold‑calling and lead‑generation campaigns.
- Display resilience to handle rejection and persistently turn challenges into opportunities.
- Navigate multiple functions within the company’s CRM to support sales and customer relationship efforts.
- Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
- Utilize data‑driven business intelligence to identify new trends and opportunities.
- Manage account list and travel on location within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate a high level of self‑direction and autonomy in managing tasks and responsibilities.
- Possess excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with clients and internal team members.
- Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
- Cultivate a distraction‑free in‑home office environment.
- 3+ years B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports‑related background.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
Hybrid environment; prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and driving occur regularly.
